My career as a fitness professional began twenty-five years ago, but my journey in fitness started long before that — in a small gym in Manhattan, where my father introduced me to strength training at the age of three. In truth, he couldn’t afford a babysitter, so he brought me along. As a scrawny, bullied kid on the Lower East Side, lifting gave me confidence, control, and a sense of identity that’s stuck with me ever since.

I’ve dedicated my life to helping men and women over 45 realize that age doesn’t have to define them. I’ve worked with clients recovering from injuries, managing autoimmune conditions, adapting to prosthetics, and returning to life after joint replacements. What they all have in common is a desire to keep living — fully, actively, and on their terms.

My mission is built on three pillars: strength, longevity, and quality of life. Whether it’s getting back on the golf course, playing with grandkids, or traveling pain-free, I help people overcome fear, false beliefs, and the myth that it’s “too late.” At 53, I tore my pec and needed surgery. It was a setback — but I recovered, rebuilt, and came back stronger because I live the same principles I coach. I'm personally invested in every client's journey. Your success is my success. This isn’t just training — it’s legacy work.

After two years writing for the AI fitness startup Tonal — developing on-screen coaching content in collaboration with sports scientists and professional athletes — I launched Flicker Strong, a concierge fitness service dedicated to ensuring that you never again let age define you.
